Museum's float entry in Cannelton's 175th Celebration Parade. The
float depicts the scene from an old photograph used in the column
artwork of the "Old Town Pump" newspaper column both shown on the
right.
For years the Old Town Pump ran old photos and articles about Cannelton's rich history, which today is a valuable tool for the Museum.
The Old Town Pump float took first place honors in the parade's Civic division. Board members Chuck Poehlein and Danny Bolin, along with Danny's family, built the nearly identical float scene.
